Thanks to over 45 years of experience, CGM has developed solid expertise in proposing solutions that often go beyond conservative technological models. The company’s objective has always been to improve the competitiveness of its clients.

Our engineering service is fully integrated with our client development chain. In this way, both the decision-making chain and design timeline are shortened. As well, our design process is supported by in-house services, such as process simulation, structural analysis, rapid prototyping, CNC prototyping and metal sintering.

MECHANICAL MANUFACTURING DEPARTMENT

CGM’s in-house workshop creates and assembles metal parts for moulds, support automations and complex mechanical modules based on client designs. The department uses fully integrated, modern CNC machines that run on three shifts per day, six days per week.

Our speed, quality and precision are always at maximum levels, allowing for considerable production output. Thanks to our experience, skills and flexibility, we can manufacture prototypes and construct small moulds, complex multicavity moulds with hot or cold runners, stack-moulds and bi-injection moulds.

PLASTIC MANUFACTURING DEPARTMENT

Our plastic manufacturing department produces individually moulded products and assembled, tested modules, using the following technologies:

injection moulding;
bi-injection moulding;
injection-blow moulding;
automated online and offline assembling;
manual assembling;
welding and decoration.

Our control systems are connected directly to the production lines and use laser and fibre-optic technologies, as well as direct-contact probes.

The moulding department is divided into three production areas that are tooled based on client markets:

Industrial area, which manufactures components for industries in general;
Food area, which manufactures parts that will have contact with food;

Medical area, which manufactures medical devices inside two ISO 8 cleanrooms.
The entire department works on continuous shifts seven days a week.

LOGISTICS

Our logistics service offers personalised supply-chain solutions that are fully integrated with production in the client supply chain. We place a high value on work methodologies regarding open orders, MRP scheduling and personalised packaging and can manage daily, weekly or monthly delivery schedules.

QUALITY

CGM implements a continuous improvement programme to both increase overall performance in its production areas and maintain rigorous cost controls. Client satisfaction is a fundamental part of this plan, as well as the use of indicators regarding efficiency, effectiveness, energy consumption, emission control and waste reduction.
